1993 Dakota - No spark, i'm stumped...please help
1993 Dodge Dakota, 3.9L V6
No spark. Changed cap and rotor, as well as rotor pick up plate. Had coil tested. It's good. Still nothing. Checked the codes and came up with a 42...Automatic shutdown relay circuit open or shorted. The funny part is the fuel rail has pressure, and fuel mists out of the spark plug wells when you pull the plug. He said he tried swapping the relays and it still didn't start...I'm not sure if he found the right one or not, I'd assume so. What next? CPS? Where is that located? |

Thank you for your input.
I should mention that it cranks and cranks all day, just doesn't fire. One of the first things we tried was starting it on ether and that didn't work either (for obvious reasons) I'm heading over there with the voltmeter now...will let you know results later. |
RE: 1993 Dakota - No spark, i'm stumped...please help
We're now showing code 33 Air conditioning clutch relay circuit open or shorted as well as the code 42.
I'm wondering if it's a wiring issue. |

Also, we're not getting power to the coil. The ASD relay has voltage going to it and it clicks when turned over.
