Dodge Stealth timing belt problem
I have a '92 Stealth. The timing belt jumped 5 teeth. At this time, the mechanic who is
working on my car has no idea what caused this to happen. The timing belt was changed 8 months ago as well as the water pump. I have damage to 2 cylinders. The belt is not damaged. What could have caused this to happen? |
RE: Dodge Stealth timing belt problem
MAybe the tensioner went bad or shifter postion, waterpump locked up, pulley slipped on shaft, etc. Could be several different things.
