2001 RAM won't start..

Basic question, we recently started using a VW Bug as our primary vehicle (temporarily).. Since we have had the Bug, we drive our truck on the weekends, the last time it was driven was last Sunday. This morning I went out to start it, when I turned the key, click-click-click. As we were in a rush, we couldn't work on it then, we just got home this evening and connected the jumper cables, now the engine will start, but will only keep running if my foot is on the gas....

HELP!

Charge Battery!!!!!!!!!!!!!or replace if bad. If the battery went totally dead the computer will need to relearn tps and iac values. This is why it will stall when you take your foot of the pedal. Happened to me too. Took about 10-15 mins running just over idle after new battery to get back in sync.
