Default Exhaust?

Right now I have flowmaster exhaust and it just doenst sound as well or as loud to me as I like it to be. If I wantd to dump how would I go about doing it and would it sound better and lounder. Also would it give it a little more hp. Other words I guess what I am trying to ask is would it be worth the time and effort to dump the exhaust. Thanks for any opinions.

dumping the exhaust will help HP... top end HP. the more you flow, the more HP you'll have on the top end. you will loose low end though so think about it before you do it...

Try Flowmaster 40 Series Muffler, it is the most aggressive-sounding street and strip muffler. Aside from the Flow 50 or 60 series you may consider a good set of headers. I put a set on my last truck and it certainly made a difference. Aftermarket Air Intakes have also been known to boost the sound of your Dodge Exhaust note.

You might try adding cold air intake system... that seems to significantly help you're truck have a significantly more aggressive sound. It would also help with throttle response and horsepower
