Ok, you have their new set up. But tell me something, how much air is that supposed to get? Most of your cold air comes in through the grill, right? from the looks of that pic there is a "heat sheild" blocking most of that air flow.


That pics makes it look as though they are expecting the air to come from that hole in the fender where the stock set up was. If that location let in enough air...then you are people not just getting a drop in filter??

 

Oh, one more thing. Your truck is a 3rd Gen. The origional question was for a 98. Two different body styles, and two different motors.

That set up wont work on a 2nd Gen, the way it would on the 3rd.
