Prep is very very important, I have a friend who didn't prep very well and it's all peeling and looks like crap after only a year. That said I'd be hesitant to paint my interior at all, I just don't see paint holding up that well with scuffing and scratching as the vinyl. If you do it take your time and do it right, don't rush it.

yea i'm in the process of redoing one of the door panels using body filler to get rid of the texture and mold the door to look as if it is one peice and if it turns out good i'm going to redo the whole interior. It will be the same concept just a little different; more black with blue accents.

Yeah, I do like the blue although it is kinda blueberry. The only change i would make is throw in some black carpet and black seats.

Yeah that is really similar to what I've wanted to do for a while now... Although more black with a deeper blue for accents...
