Can anyone provide a Auto upholster with the RTP area.

I am tired of messing with the RACCINE interior and want to recover it with OEM premiums fabric

Hey, not sure if you ever heard back from anyone about an upholestry person in the RTP area....the only thing I can think of is if you get in touch with Bryan and Iron Thunder Motorcycles on Spring Forest Rd in Raleigh....he makes custom motorcycles and has a guy who does some awesome work on motorcycle seats...I would think he would be able to take care of your needs or would know of someone who would be able to take care of you locally.

In Durham on West Main Street on the side of the street north of the Railroad tracks on either Trent Street or the side streets beside it is a small tan steel building that houses a father/son auto interior shop that i think is called 'Dawson's Auto Upholstery'

I have had two headliners and a driver's seat refinished at that shop,
and felt the work was first rate & fairly priced.

I think that the father is now semi-retired,
which is unfortunate because he did excellent work and was a pleasure to deal and talk with.
The son is highly skilled, but perhaps a little cranky in personality.

I can't remember the name at the moment,
but over in Hillsborough NC there is a custom auto restorer whose work is excellent, but expensive with a long waiting list.

I know a fellow in Chapel Hill who restores Packard V12s as a hobby
who seems to know nearly everyone in North Carolina who does specialty auto work. If the place in Durham doesn't work out, repost here and I will ask him for advice.
