2007 Grand Cherokee Instrument Panel Dead

My sisters 2007 GC instrument panel is completely out. Only thing working are headlights & turn signals (no sound though). The dash is completely dead including a/c & heater controls & all lights.......HELP!!! :icon_rant:

Checked the fuses? Other obvious things like the wiring connections? Pulled the cluster out and looked behind it yet? You have the vehicle with you....check some things....

No sunroof. When the engine first starts & runs for about 5 -7 minutes, the dash will suddenly "come alive". I've been told to check the ECM & related connections but, where is the ECM?

Thanks in advance,
Chuck

Why are you answering someone else's question?

I had originally asked the question on behalf of my sister. My BIL (CPE61) has since gotten his own account & is now awaiting to hear a hopeful solution.

OOOhhhhh LOLzzzz sorry

First place I would look is the junction block under the drivers side kick panel/column area. Sometimes water can get in them and make it all go nuts. More often because of a clogged sunroof drain, but also sometimes because of wiper cowl or windshield leak. Commanders and Durangos have the same kind of issues as well.
