Hey, I just joined this site. I recently bought a 2004 dodge ram with a 4.7L in it, its a 2 wheel drive so i'm wanting to build a ppretty mean street truck out of it. I realized that everytime I would look for a good place to start I would end up searching these forums and pretty much every thread I looked in I saw posts from you, so I thought I would just skip the middle man and ask your opinion on the matter. Trucks are a new thing for me, my last vehicle was a cobra.

Hey Blown, I am looking into getting the Borla XR-1 and I know we have the same engine sizes. I saw some vids that you showed me a while back and was that muffler the round shaped? 3" in/3" out?

Hey man, I love the truck. I wanted to see if you could give me some info on it if you don't mind. What type engine upgrades do you have to run the supercharger? I am looking at doing some type of forced induction to my 04 Ram 4.7. It doesn't look like anyone makes a supercharger for the 4.7 anymore. I am kind of leaning toward a STS Turbo system, but it will have to be custom. I don't want to run high boost, under 5psi. The main thing I am not sure of is fuel system upgrades.

Thanks for any help you can give.

hey, so i have noticed that u have done a hemi swap on a 05 dakota! i am currently doin the exact same thing!! i have an 04 5.7 hemi... i am doing the swap with my dad who owns a body/mechanic shop. we have already done the motor mounts and oil pan(as its a 4x4) however we have noticed we have to re-do the oil pan as there is not enough clearence. so now we are on the wiring, which looks fairly simple so far.. most things plug right in. the computer plugs in perfectly ect. there is a few things id like to ask thoug.. what advice can u give me? did you get the gas pedal from the donar engine so you still have cruise?? we have noticed that 5.7 is electronically while the 4.7 is with lines for the throttle body.. how did you change it over?? what other problems did you run into??
    thanks for the info!!!!
