Sorry for the late reply, currently not anywhere near my Dak due to military service. Of course that fact scares the hell out of me because I know I am going to go back to a freakin wet drivers side floor, needless to say the leak is still there with no end in sight that I can think off. Short of pulling the hood off, taking the cowl out, stripping the interior and pouring colored water all over the cowl to try to see where the water is entering, I am clueless.
As for the windshield repair, if that did not do the trick, I am suspecting a bad weld on the fire wall or in your case, a bad weld on the "A" pillar.
BTW, how did you determine water was pouring in near the grab handle you mentioned?
Another thing I was thinking of doing is getting some POR-15 and "painting" it on the cowl area then re-spray white to blend in to see if that helps.
This water thing really pisses me off.

I recently purchased a 2008 dakota V6 4x4 and I have water coming out of the driver side grab handle it has been back to the dealership 3 times going on 4 because it is still leaking. They replaced the windshield the last time and said that should do BUT NO it didn't. How did you make out with your leak? Our New York State lemon laws do not cover leaks am I screwed? Thanks
