Hello there, I stumbled onto your hemi swap on youtube. I did a swap from a 04 hemi to a 2005 Dakota 4wd. I have it all running and all the mods done. I am using the 4.7 pcm and had some work done on it by a local programming shop. I am using a svt tuner. I am curious as to what kind of computer mods you did to yours. I see you have a 2006 5.7? which is different from the 04 right? I find the power is not what it should be, it is more powerful than the 4.7 but I thought it would have more.. well "pep" haha Just want to pick your brain a bit! thanks.

Where did you get the bumper that is on your Dakota? I like how that looks.

Thakns man I really like them alot. I had bought a set of Belltec shackles and put the bolt in the highest hole of the shackle. They drop lower as the shocks get broken in to them. I have had mine on for 3 years.

I can believe that, because as it goes lower it fits under the fender. Do you still have the fender wells under the front? I think I might have to get some new coils and cut my old ones, but I dont know yet. I am ready to get these rims on too, I think they should look killer on my red, or that is what I am hoping for. Thanks for the part numbers. When you cut the coils how did you get them the same size and did you take them on and off by yourself?

I have lowered it 2 inches in the back and that is it. I have followed and talked to the 2 or 3 guys that bought the Lowboyz, they say they work good and nothing has went bad with them. Yea I use to post in CustomDakotas alot, until it went under new ownership. Well if you like a red truck me and you can just swap. I will have the same rims as you but I wont have it lowered as low, haha. Do you know how much a set of coils are? I had thought about buying a new set and chopping the mess out of my stock ones. Also I did go with a 45 series tire. My tire shop said a 50 series would be alright but I told them that I didnt want it to rub hard, so I guess we will see how that goes, they should be in this week. I saw these rims and loved them, so I just happened to google Dick Cepek Torque and found your truck and thats when I said I must have these rims.

Thanks for the pic, looks good. I was going to do the low boys in the front and the axle flip kit in the back of mine last year but I didnt get around to doing it. I went with a 45 series tire so it shouldnt rub and I shouldnt have to cut anything. Your truck looks super clean. I have always been drawn to that blue, I wished I would have gotten that color.
