I'm a new owner of an '02 Dakota SLT. This was a salvage sale (truck was in Nashville Floods earlier this year) the seller had the vehicle reworked. I did see the truck before he started the rework & it wasn't really bad at all. But, the shop had replaced a module that controls lights, accessories. Replacement of this module also deleted the program of the key-less entry Key Fob. So... I'm looking for the procedure to reprogram my key fob. I did see in another thread, at there was a posting for reprogramming the k-fob for a Caravan, but will this work for my Dakota?

Hello, there is a very good thread on replacing your A/C Evap and or heater core titled "A How-to; On your Heater-Core & Evaporator-Core" by JBs DAK. unfourtunetly the Photo's are no longer showing up. JB's Dak has offered to send them to a modorator to repost, is this possible? The Photo's would be a really big help to anyone tackling this issue. Than kyou very much, and this is a great board with a lot of good info. Jim

I got a question I going to change my 2003 dak 2nd gen to a 2000 dak gen 2 360 ci and wondering if the computer is program for a v-6 and by pluging in the wireing harness for a v-8 to the computer would the computer start and run this engine combo? The other truck has 46 re instead of mine which has now a 42 re I was wondering if the transmission plugs and computer would be same also? I hope you can email back something. Aloha from Hawaii Wyatt
