What's the fastest top speed (mph) you hit???
 

Greetings from one very happy driver who is totally satisfied (until the upgrades...hehehe) with my purchase of my SRT-4. Being in the military and stationed over here in wonderful Naples Italy[:'(] the "highways" being something out of "Road Warrior" with basically no speed limit, I am able to really open her up. On the "Tangezile" or Tange as it is referred to, I maxed out MPH, not at 148mph (forget that metric cr*p) like the ads say but at 154 mph (she started to sputter out after 154mph.....damn!!!). The SRT-4 or "Rachel" as I call her, handled like a champ. The rear spoiler really does work.....The only thing I have to worry about passin' me are the Ferrari's and occasional Lamborgini....other than that.....:).

:D Glad you love your car! I beat the holy SNOT out of an F-body Firebird and my car was still going at 160... My husband wasn't very happy with my careless and carefree driving but, I sure was happy to smoke that mutha fawker!!!

I honestly don't know how fast I was going. Do know that I was very close to red lining and the speed-O was past the 160 mark.
I smoked him, who cares, my cars fast, but I made a promise no more racing on the streets... Savin' it for the tracks so, lucky lucky lucky you for gettin' to drive ass fast in Italy!!!

Hello Guys,

I drove (with my speed limiter cutter) on the German Autobahn 164 MPH = 262 KMH (GPS contolled).

Here you can drive really fast without getting problems.

I thought the srt-4's had a electronically limited top speed? Did you guys take your governors off?

Nobodys sure where it went or why, but the speed limiter mentioned on the Dodge site evidently never ended up in the car. Many many reports, and a few vids have put the proof to the claim that the cr is what's called " drag limited", meaning it goes until aerodynamic forces put a stop to it.

I would love to try mine for top end, but there isn't enough road in good enough condition or without a cop around to try it.[&o]

Hello Guys,

normally the SRT4 is limited at 245km/h or 153 mph.(tested on my car-2004 canadian)

So we rebuilt our module from PT Turbo to kill the speed limiter in the SRT4; which
reduces the milage on the speedometer to a half.

But we are still searching after a method
with PCM programming; I hope the next 2 weeks we get results to flash everything we
want - boost, injection time, engine red line an vehicle top speed.

So you can drive a lot faster then normally.

The driving stability is given by a KW coilover suspension (suplier of MP coilovers)
an some 19inch rims from ATP. We must do a lot of bodywork that the
19 inchers get enough space in the wheelhouse.

We screwed the coilover arround 3 inches down to nearly the minimum which is allowed.
