What's goin' on???
 

I've only had my SRT4 for four months and it's my first turbo-charged car. I noticed tonight that my car is idling high. When I throw it into neutral and apply the brakes, it revs up by itself and the rpm needle rises and lowers. Why is this happening? [&o]

How high? Check srtforums.com , dealer problem section, Throttle sticking at 3K sticky thread.

The only time that has happened to me is when my big stompers hit the gas pedal slightly while braking.[&:]

I hear ya, RR!!!!! I hate it when I have to wear my tac assault boots, I get no feedback from the pedals and often hit the brake when stompin' on the gas.....makes for some interesting burnouts!!!![sm=burnout.gif]

I didn't notice anything today until I was on my lunch break and it reved up once by itself and something just didn't feel right while I was driving...then my engine light came on [:'(]
I got it towed to the dealership to check it out. What an inconvenience and to have only owned it for 4 months. When I bought the car, it had 80 miles on it. I hope no one dogged the s[sm=smiley35.gif] out of it while test driving. I'll let you know what it was once I hear from the dealer. I miss it already [sm=smiley19.gif]

edit- if i had to guess, people ussually get P0123 or P0121 i believe..

Did they sell the car as new? I would never have bought this car with that many miles as a new car. Mine had 6 miles on it. The sales guy told me on the test drive that i could do what i wanted to the car. His words were drive like you want. I still didnt dog it but they drive them hard and that is not always the best thing for them. Hope that didnt happen to yours. Please let us know what they say.

it could have been a dealer trade or something, to explain the mileage.
