turn down boost??

I have stage 2 and the boost is running off the waste gate setting and it is set to high then I want, how do I adjust the waste gate to turn down my boost a little? Im running about 20lbs under WOT and I want it around 16lbs

just adjust the nut on the waste gate, out means less boost, just need to play with it a bit.

By out do u mean turning it to the left or right, and do I have to take off the heat sheild? Im sorry ive never adjusted my waste gate before

Move the nut away from the wastegate, you should have to twist it left. And you will have to remove the heat shield.

I finally got the car into a shop so I could adjust the waste gate today. I only turned the nut a little bit so there was only one more thread showing then before. There was 4 threads before and i turned it a little and 5 are showing now, and when i took the car for a test run it pulled good under part throttle but when i floored it was like it lost all power and wouldn't pull at all, then the engine light blinked a few times and went out. What do u think is the problem, or what has happened?

could my waste gate be broken? I set it back the way it was and it still sputters under boost. Once the waste gate opens up, my engine goes crazy and has no power

there is nothing wrong with the wastegate this is normal, the engine doesnt like the wastegate so the check engine light is normal! i have had my wastegate on for about 2 months now and the check engine light comes on once in awhile but not all the time and i never had it flashing before but there is nothing wrong with the wastegate!

the boost is still to high try moving the wastegate in a little and try that. it took me forever to get my wastegate set just right. i had to change it a little and test drive it change it a little more and test it again. took me about all day but it was fun. i also noticed that after i set it the first time a few weeks later i had to adjust it agian to get it back just right. this is probly cause i bought a no name brand wga off ebay but its been working great now for almost 2 years with no more needing to adjust so im happy best 90 bucks i put into the car.

its weird tho because no matter where i adjust the wastegate now it does the same thing everytime. It doesnt even make it past 10lbs of boost and the engine just sputters out and the exhaust pops alot.
