Chicago Area SRT's, where are you?
 

Got my SRT in early September last year and have been driving it to work, 86 miles round trip, since... even through the winter. I haven't seen very many SRTs at all, thought it was due to it being winter, but now... it's nice out and I still see only about one per month, and they're always going to opposite direction. What's the deal? Where are all you Chicago SRT's? I see WAY too many Evo's and STI's though.

got mine in september in body shop november back in may. i don't see many, i drive as part of my job and don't see many. i'm northside (rogers park) work in northwest suburbs (by palwaukee)
did you go thru winter w/stock tires? if not what did you do? are you north; south, east (in the lake) or west?

I live in Gurnee and commute to Schaumburg Airport which is just south of the Elgin O-Hare expressway. I had on the stock BF's through winter, when it snowed, I borrowed my parents 3500 Turbo Diesel 4x4. Not a bad ride either when I wasn't able to drive my srt-4.

I have a blue srt with mopar tails and black eyelids. Say hi if you see me around.

Im in cicero, and work in Chicago (Nashville & Archer) And I see TONS of them! Especially by where I work. I get flagged down all the time.

I must not be cruising the right strip! It's cool to know they are around though.

Eyelids are an aesthetic piece that goes on the headlight. Makes the car look meaner in my opinion. I order the blue vinyl ones from ruthlessgraphics, but ripped the blue pieces when installing them. I like the look of the black ones anyway, so it's cool.
