SeatBelt Prob's?

I Got An 05' ACR SRT. Ok I took my car in to get the reverse lights fixed. they stopped working about a month after i got it. around the same time my rear defroster went out too. Anyways, my drivers side seatbelt needed repair. the part the seatbelt goes into and latches on. Well the button that you press to release it got jammed. I took it in and the part for it is on backorder and its goin to take a couple of weeks. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem?

I had the same exact problem with the driver's side seat belt buckle. Mine is currently on order also.

I used to have a problem getting the thing to "click" when I put it on, but then I lost 30 pounds and haven't had anymore problems!!!
Seriously though, this is a new one for me, too!

My seatbelt wont stay plugged in. It pops out when I do the "Viper-Seat Wallet Mambo". I had the whole thing replaced though, it refused to retract at one point. This is weird though...I have never had the button get "stuck" other than once. And usually IM the one with the weird ass, only happens to me, type problems.

Yea I didn't think this was an everyday thing. I have been told that it's going to be at least 4-6 weeks because the particular part is on backorder lol

So you're saying your seatbelt doesn't work and they are taking weeks to replace it?????? That sounds ridiculous to me. What if the customer gets into an accident? I would get on them and telll them do do whatever necessary to fix the issue more quickly, as it is on record now, and if god forbid, you do crash, the insurance companies will see that there was a malfunctioning seatbelt that you were aware of and drop your claim like a bad habbitt. I am surprised dealers aren't more reactive to a situation like this. Just my .02. Good luck with the dealer, either way.
