Default New from Connecticut

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum. I am not a Dodge owner yet, I just sold my 2005 Ford Escape and I am looking to purchase a Dodge Ram 1500. My current criteria is under 100,000 miles, 4 seater, and under $11,000. All I have found out here are 2001 models which I am fine with. I am having trouble finsing the difference between the different styles the SLT, LT, ect. Also does anyone know how many miles I can expect to get out of a 2001 with regular mainenance?

Welcome to D.Forum. My son's Dodge Ram 1500 is a 1997 with 135,000 and still runs
great. He has no problems with it. I also know guys with 150,000 and no problems.
I have 81,000 on my 2004 HEMI and it runs great. I LOVE DODGE.

I was wondering about the mileage becasue before I got the escape I had a 1996 explorer with 208,000 miles. The only major repairs that were done is the radiator was replaced and the transmission rebuilt.

Sometimes on 01 and down you have to rebuilt the tranny.

Do you know what the differences are between the styles? I couldn't find much information. I know that somtimes on trucks the lowest of the styles has rubber flooring instead of carpet, vinal seats instead of cloth, ect.
