new to forum

Hello all! New to this forum. I just picked up a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 5.9L magnum. I spent a whole $500 on it! Im going to be in the process of fixing it up for my 15 yr old step son. So, Ill be on here quite a bit.

I have quite a few projects to tackle. I need to change all the shocks out, so I ordered a 3" lift kit with 4 nitrogen shocks. Anyone know what size tires I should run on the stock chrome rims? I need to do something with the lights! I have do drive with the bights on so I can sort of see through the yellow build up on them. Another project is the headliner. It is starting to fall down. Anyone know if I can use like some 3M spray adhesive? Then the biggest one that I will have to address is the engine has just over 300K miles on it. Should I be expecting a rebuild soon?

Thanks in advance for the comments!

if you run a buffer lightly over the headlights it will clear off 'some' of the yellow. might just have to break down and get new headlights there. if the engine was well cared for you might be alright, but seals and such wear out regardless. besides, its possible the engine was rebuilt already with that kind of milage

yeah, it looks like there are a lot of leaks in that engine bay! I have a coolant leak somewhere and I cant even tell because of all the grease and crap built up on it!
