"New" Dodge lover

Hi, we recently bought a 1970 Dodge AT4-460 horse truck with an RAAF history. It is in good knick for it's age and though it will be primarily a working truck, we intend to restore/keep it in original condition. A lot of little jobs to attend to, but the biggies first, like the right hand fuel tank isn't working properly to be done first.
Glad to hear from anyone who can put me on to other people who restore and keep similar types of vehicles.

No, it has a 318 V8 motor, not sure what breed it is as I haven't found any badges or identifying marks on it yet.
But you are right, it is damn sturdy and so far reliable, have taken it on a few 10 hour trips with a horse on board and done two 2 hour trips with an overnight camp then return with 4 horses plus many other day trips around local horse shows and it hasn't missed a beat, though the full load has prompted the addition of an extra helper spring to boost stability :)
Even had a bit of fun the other day, was taking her to the mechanics and on the way, I found that I was slowly catching another truck, then when the opportunity came, I overtook him on the premise that it would be a good reminder that he should never have sold Dad's old truck as this was a very recent model 5-6 tonner, though we were both empty at the time :)
You can see a few photos here.
