New, with an 84 Dodge 600 Convertible
I am in need of some brake help. The rear drums do not come with the Spindle/Hub Assembly and they are beggers to find. The dealer wants $150 a piece. The car isn't in perfect shape and I don't really want to spend that much on rear brakes. Does anybody know of a work around? It would be ideal to find 7-7/8" rear drums with the spindle/hub assembly built in. I can't find anything online about this.
I have atached a picture of "Lenny" 1984 Dodge 600 Convertible w/ 2.2L Turbo I also have an 03 Neon SXT |

Got any more pics of the 600 or Neon? We love pics here... I hope you'll visit us often, even after Lenny is all better. :) ~Amanda |

Hi Navaan I see your a fellow CNYer.
If I remember right there is a Salavge yard in East Syracuse called the Bee Hive that specializes in late model Chryslers. Possibly there might be someone there who could be of assistance. Welcome to DF.. Also check out the regional NE forum I'll try and keep things like cars shows up to date. Do you take "Lenny" to the car shows? |
