Dodge Ram rear wiring causing Speed Sensor Error
Good Morning,
2007 Ram 3500. I had the bed pulled off of it and a flatbed installed. The installer didn't do a real professional job rewiring the tail lamps and a couple months later I noticed the left blinker flashing quickly when I switched it on. Upon investigation, I found that I had no lights on the left rear.
Well, as often happens I got underneath and started tinkering with the wires to hunt down the short, but never got the left rear lights working again. Instead, when I cranked back up I had a check engine light, ABS light, and Brake light on the cluster. I pulled the code and got a speed sensor error.
Here's what I've done: replaced the speed sensor in the rear axle and on the transmission, checked all the fuses.
Obviously I shorted or grounded something. Any help would be appreciated.
