Default Trying for mileage

I sold my old faithful 2002 RAM2500 5.9 to my cousin. It always turned in 21 to 24 mpg. I cut out the cat and muffler and added a straight pipe and had a K&N on it. Always ran perfect and I never had one problem with it. 162,000 when I sold it. I bought a 2007 (built in 10/06) with the 6 speed stick and a 410 rearend. I need to pull fairly heavy trailers and it does a great job. I am trying to get the fuel mileage up a little better. I have a K&N cold air kit on it and a programmer that I set to the mileage setting. I am looking at exhaust systems but there are so many of them I can't decide. Does anyone know which will give me the biggest mpg gain without costing a fortune or being difficult to install?

Thanks

Welcome from San Diego, enjoy the forum!
First listen to utube clips to get the sound you want then that should help narrow it down. We are having a big sale of Flowmaster too
