1994 dodge tranny problems

i have a 1994 dodge dakota with an a500 transmission and a 5.2l (swaped motor) and the truck is takin off in 2nd gear instead of 1st what could be the problem(s)?????

If you can look there is a Tranny Diagnoisis chart the guys provided to me in an answer to my question...
