Default Upper control arm rub!

I have 295/55/20 trail grapplers on my stock 20 rims. If I go with a 20x8.5 rim with a +10 offset would that help with the space? Any help appreciated!Im a new member here and new to the dodge world.

How wide are your current rims, and what is the backspacing on them? What is the backspacing on the wheels you are looking at? I assume you are driving a dodge truck.... what year??

Welcome to DF!

This will give you an idea of what measurements mean what. Get a wheel with slightly less backspacing to move the wheels further out from the control arms. Pay attention to how backspacing, and offset relate, and you should be able to get the wheels that will work for you.

Keep in mind, moving the wheels out further may cause the tires to rub someplace else instead..... best to be able to 'test fit' them, before actually shelling out the cash.

Ok here is what I got.the rockstar xd wheels are 20x8.5 with +10 Offset backspacing is 5.14. My stock 20s are 20x9 +19 offset backspacing is 5.75 so im thinking the xd wheels will help stop the rubbing.

They will move the wheels/tires out a little better than half an inch, but, they are wider..... which will make the tire wider as well. May not contact the control arm, but, watch the bumpers, and back of the fender.

Pics would be nice to see too.
