I took my Dodge in for an oil change, they said I needed to replace both lower control arms but I haven't heard any noise, or felt any vibrations. Maybe they just want more money out of me. How do I check the lower control arms? Every time I google this stuff, I never find anything that QUITE applies to my query.

It's possible that what they REALLY want to replace is, the lower ball joints. On some chrysler products, they are pretty much non-serviceable, and you do indeed replace the entire lower control arm. (Chargers are like this.....)

Jack up the front of your car, and shake the front wheel. If there is any slop to it, take a look, and see what is moving that shouldn't be. That can tell ya a lot.
