Hey guys- im am the twin sister of the girl (aimee) with the strat from PA. We share that car. i though id get in on this stuff. about myself- my name is angel and im 18 and i live and york pa. Our stratus is a 97, its white with the 2.4 liter DOHC. I dont know a WHOLE lot about cars, but our mom is quite the mechanic. i know that sounds odd- well maybe. Im kinda in love with the trans am, but i'll keep my mouth shut about chevys here.... vipers are absolutly awesome and i wish i had a stealth. any way- nothing much was done to our car. I dont have a whole lot of money to dump into it without being sure im gonna get something out of it. (ex. speed...) we do have some small items to enhance the apperance- the front end mask, window visors, a dodge decal across the front windshield and smaller ram head stick on the back.oh and white lettered tires. small things, but it makes the whole car look a whole lot better. anywho...thats about it for now- im out</P>

we havent modified it at all besides just the small physical additions. right now- its making this noise when it starts up from sitting for a while in the cold- it has something to do with the steering- like a whining groaning noise. Ive heard other stratus do it before- so i dunno what the deal is. you drive around and it just makes this noise- gets louder as you turn the steering wheel. also- normally, the car has this "putter". like its losing air or there is a vacuum somewhere. we replaced the one oxygen sensor but never replaced the upper one. i dunno if that is causing it or if the exhaust system is wrong or what. AND the catalytic converter has be bad for a while (stink!) and eventually it will need some kindof gasket- has to do with the oil- but its hard to get to- like rip the whole motor apart hard. SOOO- i dunno if i should be posting that elsewhere, but my point was that i dont wanna but money into it before we pinpoint the other problems. of course if we fix certain things, ill make additions while parts are off, but i dunno. thats the story
