Howdy all,
I'm new to the forum but I've been mopar from the git go.
I'm 41 married with 4 kids 10 to 20 3 girls one boy. I started driving a 76 New Yorker when I was a kid, bought a slightly damaged 72 Plymouth Sebring for $150 back in 1984 as my first car and sold it to my dad when I went into the army. Bought a 77 Dodge Diplomatwhen I got to Ft. Campbell and drove it for 4 years. Got out of the army and started working for a local plant and traded the Dippo in on a brand new 1989 Shelby Daytona geeze! that was a cool car! T-Tops CD player cassette power everything with power leather seats. Blue with dark grey int. Georgous car that one. Screwed up and got married the first time car to small for instant family, traded Daytona in on 1993 Dakota Club Cab sport V6 5 speed. Can we say BORING? But that truck saw me through alot of crap, still have it today with 340,000 miles on it. Never rebuilt. And yeah, it uses oil big time but it still runs well. My[second] wifes oldest daughter[ the 20 year old] drives it now. Also have a 2001 Chrysler T/C minivan. Most practical vehicle ever made..hands down. Just can't be cool driving one...it's a shame too. And now for the coupe de grace...2005 Ram 1500 Daytona Go Mango Quad Cab. Now that is really really cool....just not practical with todays gas prices. I've had a few other cars here and there but they weren't mopars. I've also got a 2003 Suzuki Bandit 1200s for my speed needs and a Suzuki Drz 400e for getting dirty. That it for now and I look forward to picking some brains on future mods for the Hemi.
