Default Hey All

New to the site but not Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth. Owned many over the years and finally I can flood my senses with all this good stuff on here. I'm AD USAF deployed at the moment. Great site here and don't be afraid to pm or email I get bored and sit at the comp when I'm not working 6 and a half 12's.

Geez, long story I'll make short....

Joined up in April '72 (NOT drafted!) and was sent to Vietnam after "special training" as a ditty-bopper among other things....Spent 6 months at Da Nang Air Base, then got pulled to process and assist with the returning POW's under "PROJECT HOMECOMING".

Stayed at Randolph AFB after getting the POWs processed in and became a in-service recruiter. Got married to a "WAF" and we got shipped to Hahn, Air Base, Germany. Pulled nuclear security duty there with F-4 aircraft uploaded with tactical nukes.

SAC got hold of me coming back to CONUS and I ended up at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana working in a "bank vault" in the "Keys and Codes" section handing out the missile launch codes/keys to the launch crews.

I got tired of the snow and ice after 5 years and managed to get assigned to the Military Personnel Center (MPC) back at Randolph AFB in 1986 and got shipped to Saudi for Desert Shield/Storm for the build up and actual attack.

After returning to the states, I did First Sergeant duty at the 50th MSSQ at Randolph AFB and put in my retirement papers effective Nov of 1992.

It was, and still is, a Great Way of Life!!!!

Forgot to mention I was TDY to Ramstein Air Base, Keesler AFB (many times), and Barksdale AFB (SAC NCO Academy)...
