Hi, I'm a new guy.
Just a word or two to say hello, and introduce myself. I've been a MoPar guy all my life, and have owned everything from slant six Darts to hemi Roadrunners, to Donavan powered AA/Alky Altereds. Presently I own a couple of Silverados, but hope to change that, soon. I have no problems with Fords, GM's, or any other brand for that matter, but I prefer MoPars.
Be advised, I don't take much about automotives seriously, but I am passionate about politics, and stupid people doing stupid stuff on public roads.
I'm an ex-street racer, and totally disagree with street racing, now. Also, I almost never believe the traffic light "war stories" posted on the internet. Most are lies, anyway, and if you're stupid enough to treat a traffic light on a public road as a christmas tree, you're probably too stupid to drive, and please don't procreate!
It's good to be here, and I'm looking forward to many fun chats.
Thanks,
Pluto

RE: Hi, I'm a new guy.
Thanks, guys.
Daksport, the truck in your sig is gorgeous. Nice job. [sm=smiley20.gif]
Dusty, I was never a cop, but many (8 and counting) of the guys in my family were, and are. I have the utmost respect for anyone on the force. I see you have an SRT-4. I had an opportunity to drive on at an SCCA autocross event about a year ago. It was a real pocket rocket! The car belonged to one of my sons buddies. I finsihed second in class, and 5th overall. I'm a V8 guy, but that little car sure was no disappointment.
Btw, after the autocross, I made two passes on the course in my 300hp Silverado. On it's best pass, my truck V8 truck was over three seconds slower than the SRT-4. It seems that turns are horse power's great equalizer.
