HELP! Nitrous install on 1969 dodge charger
i just bought a NOS sniper kit for my car. will i need to upgrade my stock mechanical fuel pump to run a 100 shot?

first thing you will have to do is check the line pressure with a guage. if it falls short of the recommened pressure required to run the system then yes. if not you are good to go. i just put a zex wet system on my dodge dakota and worth every penny.

The safest way to run nitrous on a carb system is to install an electric fuel pump dedicated to the nos system. The Holley red pump is pre set to 7 psi and will flow 97 gallons per hour so no regulator will be needed. Simply plumb into the fuel supply line, if you have 5/16 line you will need to upgrade to 3/8, and wire it to your nitrous arming switch at the relay.
