Eastern Diesel Performance – Justin Little – Beware!!!
I'm not creating a poll, as I HIGHLY recommend that no one attempt to do business with this guy!!!
This is a long read, I hope this does not deter somebody from buying from a reputable dealer - just do some research before buying
I would highly recommend that you not attempt to do business with Eastern Diesel Performance 128 N Main St Union Bridge, MD 21791 or it's owner Justin Little. Below is the current status of a transaction I attempted to have with him and his company. I am writing this in an attempt to save someone else from encountering the lies and deceit that I have endured since beginning to do business with him. My ordeal is not over yet, but my hope is that I can save someone else the aggravation, and possible loss of money from dealing with a fraud.
The facts:
June 21st 2009 – Met Justin Little at 75 & 80 Raceway in Monrovia, MD. Discussed purchasing twin turbocharger setup from him. He quoted me $3100 shipped to my door
July 13th 2009 – I call Justin Little and order parts from him gave Justin my credit card information. I told him that I planned to do the install on August 1st and 2nd. Justin told me that the kit would arrive to my by July 20th or 21st. Justin was going to call me back this evening to confirm the credit card charge, and confirm the delivery date.
July 15th 2009 – Check my bank, and two charges for $1600 each charged to my account ($3200 total) – more than agreed upon
July 20th 2009 – I call Justin in the morning to check delivery status, and inquire as to why the charge was higher than quoted – no answer, so I leave a message
July 21st 2009 – I call Justin in the morning to check delivery status – no answer, so I leave another message
July 22nd 2009 10:30 AM – I call Justin to check delivery status – no answer, so I escalated the message
July 22nd 2009 11:00 AM - I decided to research the manufacturer, and phone them At approximately 11AM I contacted Diesel Power source to check on the status of my order. I give the guy my information, the dealer name, and ask what the ship date was. The manufacturer looks around, and could find no record of the order.
July 22nd 2009 11:15 AM – I call Justin and leave a message telling him that I am preparing to call the police and Visa to initiate a fraud claim, since the manufacturer has no record of the order.
July 22nd 2009 11:30 AM - got a call back from the manufacturer - they got an order yesterday (July 21st – fully 9 days after my order) from Justin Little (not his business name - personal name) that will ship today (to him-not to me) and will take 5 to 7 days to arrive (they are in Utah).
July 22nd 2009 11:45 AM – Receive call from Justin! Very apologetic, told me he was in southern Maryland, had trailer problems, and cell phone went dead. Gave me a bunch of numbers (no tracking numbers, but a drop-ship number???) told me to expect the kit to be delivered to me on July 27th (obviously a lie), and will call me with a definite ETA this afternoon.
July 23rd 2009 7:36 PM – I call Justin, as I didn’t receive the promised call back for an ETA – left message – no call back.
July 24th 2009 3:44 PM – I call Justin for an update – leave message – no call back
July 25th 10:12 AM – I call Justin for an update – leave message – no call back
July 27th 10:00 AM – Call my bank and initiate fraud complaint.
July 28th 8:15 PM – I call Justin for an update – leave message, escalated the message and notified him that he should be expecting calls from my bank, and the police – no call back. I spoke to my bank this evening, and they recommend calling the police based on the amount of the fraudulent transaction. They also recommend me cancelling my credit card and getting a new one issued (even though that requires contacting anyone that has the card stored for automatic billing)

Update!!
I still have not heard from Justin Little. But - it seems that Diesel Power Source came thru!! I just received my package. I obviously will cancel the fraud claim with my bank.
I still highly recommend against using a vendor that:
1) Charges more than agreed to
2) Will not return calls unless threatened with legal action
3) Makes excuses, and will not follow thru with agreed terms
