I didnt do as many this year either I work at the track in Saratoga (flat track) overnights doing security. My weekend days were spent sleeping for the duration of the 6 week meet, I do manage to a few before and after though. been wanting to go to Guptil's for a while now.

You work for the saratoga horse track? I work for Belmont and Aqueduct.

Do you work security? I've been doing it 4 years and I'm finally on the off season fill in list, I hope to be come one of the six monthers.

I actually work maintenance doing all the odd jobs. From the track to the infield.

You are the other unsung heroes!! Patrons don't realize the work that goes into keeping the tracks looking the way they do. They ever send any of you guys up to Saratoga?

I would go up there to deliver vehicles but I'm too low on the totem pole for the OT.

They ever fix the two we sent back down? One was hit by a golf cart and the other had a slipping tranny. I think one of them was L-29

Theres a seperate mechanic for the security vehicles... He works on them in the tunnel but I assume they are down there. lol
