Is this competition for the cherokee srt-8?

 

ive done a review on them..its a pretty fast SUV...alot of guys are running mid 13s with just the K&N drop in...

 

...that's wow-inducing lol. So i guess with just that simple modification there could be tough heat between it and the srt-8, whose alleged stock quarter mile time is 13.5 seconds and 0-60 in 5.2. (though there are sources that say that 0-60 is less than 5.0 *shrugs*). Another big factor is probably going to be the price difference. It'll just have to wait till the trailblazer goes into production before we can successfully analyze which wins...

personally, I don't think price is that big of a deal, but to a lot of people it is.

 

what do you mean about the production? the trailblazer SS has been out for a while..i see them frequently...we actually saw one yesterday. when we were headed to the auto show this year, we were in the tunnel leading to the venue, and its like 4 lanes of traffic, and i hear something really jump on it..i expected a vette/GTO/mustang...but it was a TBSS...they sound nice...

From the articles I have read, the Grand Cherokee spanks the Trailbrazer's sorry behind in acceleration by a nice margin. I think this guy is just a GM fan.

 

i like the TBSS. the srt8 looks goofy with the reflectors on the rear.

 

I'd much rather have a GC SRT-8... Looks better, its faster...

 

i would too, im just sucking up to gm tbss to prevent people from flaming me, now that you guys are here i can tell the truth... tbss is just another cheap attempt at trying to beat a dodge vehicle. whew... got that off my chest

 

OK so look let me ad my 2 cents here yea the trailblazer ss is pretty fast but besides wheels, normal ss front clip, and a couple holes between the lights it still looks stock, plus its slow in car and driver srt8 stomps the ss in everything except for towing capacity interior room and other non performance ****, srt8 is the real hot rod suv deal, if you need to tow something or haul a bunch of soccer kids around then maybe the ss is better for you but if you wanna go fast and look like you like to go fast then buy an srt8 cause they rock And thats the bottom line
