They have got to be the UGLIEST trucks I HAVE ever seen!!!!!!!!

 

I think they look a lot better than the last revision to the Silverado...the one that ran from 2003ish to the current model year.....the style with the slanty headlights [:'(]

If they bring the 3/4 ton Avalanche back...along with giving their 8.1L V8 an MDS system, I might just look into picking up a new Avalanche in the future I guess you could say I have an infatuation of sorts with 8.0l motors and 3/4 ton trucks *hopes his gf isn't reading this right now* [8D]

 

i drove an 03 silverado Z71, was pretty nice, i actualy want one now

 

By far the ugliest Gm truck ever... The GMC grill doesn't look so bad, but no matter what, both are still hideous...

 

I think the Chevy looks really bad, but I don't mind the GMC as much. The Avalanches look better than the Silverados.

As for an MDS in the 8.1 (DOD as GM calls it), I seriously doubt that will happen, 2500's aren't for gas mileage

 

None of them raise my pulse rate........

Actually, the 8.1 is the best application for a cylinder displacement technology. It would have more power running on 4 cylinders than the smaller V8s And it doesn't matter if 3/4tons are for gas mileage or not.....they're going to have to get good mileage soon or people will stop buying them...and GM will have to stop making them due to government sanctions and increases in the minimum CAFE rating.
