Swapalease

I was wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with swapalease. com. If so how was it? I'm thinking of putting up my truck on there because since I bought it Chrysler moved me to a plant that is 5 miles away from my house. So I can't even come close to putting 12K a year on it. I've had it 7 months and it dosen't even have 5K on it yet! I just was wondering because I don't want to plunk down a hundred bucks for something not worth my time. Thanks ahead of time for your responses!

Why does it matter how many miles you put on it?
Is it the whole insurance thing where they ask you how many likes yo put on your car each year?
They never check so it doesn't matter and on top of that, it's your truck, not theirs they can't tell you how many miles you drive each year. Keep the truck, especially if you like it. Don't get rid of it based off of some stupid 12K a year thign the insurance company asks you about.

No what I meant was I'm not putting enough miles on it, so I'm paying a lease payment for miles I am not using. So it is turning into a waste of money. Its like renting a car, but not driving it.

Why don't you finance and just buy the car?
Your leasing the car and you are talking about wasting money? Leases are the largest waste of money going. You pay for a car that you end up returning to the dealer after so many years and you get nothing out of it. And in most cases when you lease you spend more money than what you can actually buy the car for. So, in esence, you are renting the car buy leasing.

Normally that is true, but 1, I usually but a new car every 2-3 years anyway and trading in is usually a money loser, and 2 around here in the detroit area you can lease a dcx product for about a third of the price to buy it!

Well, I still don't see the logic, I just never understood leasing.
But its good that you can lease a car in Detroit for less than you can to buy it.
