I picked Utah to win that game staight up. They are a very good team. They are a lot like Oklahoma on offense. They run the hurry up spread and Bama was not ready for it. They had guys not lined up, got caught trying to sub, looking at the sideline when the ball was snapped. Sec teams just haven't seen it. Oklahoma does it faster and with better people. Utah put up a bunch of points on Bamas defense and the oline some said was a good as Oklahomas.

Utahs Defense was the key, JP Wilson had zero time to throw the football. Utah was impressive. Unfortunately, with the BCS in place, it still leaves room for speculation. Now we have USC, Utah, The Florida/OU winner and most likely Texas. All with a legitimate argument as to who's best. The College ranking/ BCS sucks, plain and simple.

I dont care if Florida or Oklahoma wins this year, you are going to have 3 teams who legitimately have an arguement for the title...

Florida/Oklahoma winner
Texas (if they win)
Utah

Well, depending on the outcome of the Florida/OU game, Utah may be able to get on the soapbox about being Natl Champs, because they are undefeated.

And granted, I'm a Big Ten fan, but Pete Caroll can suck it, when he says right now they can beat anyone. I'm sorry, but you already lost to Oregon St. Too bad, so sad. Get over it! To quote my favorite former Buckeye, and I may be paraphrasing here - "It's not who's the better team, it's who's best on game day!" - Chris Spielman

That reminds me of Matt Lineart after Texas beat them in the rose bowl, "We are still the best team in the country, we just got beat by a freakish athlete" (Vince Young)

Spielmans quote makes perfect sense to me. right on the money!
