haha, well I have told him, " I almost had you converted, and know you pull this "im lookin at a ferd" chit?".
At this point he is going to buy what ever brand he can get with the options he wants.

Purpl, I do like the 2010 models, but unless Dodge makes a change, they are going to have a major flaw. They have opted for a urea injection in the exhaust to meet EPA standards. Now this sounds great, but this also means that there is going to be a small 8 gallon tank that has to be filled with quality urea(no you can't **** in it). They claim that the tank will go aproxmiatley 4,000 miles before needing to be refueled. The bad thing is though, once you run out, your truck will shut down and not run anymore. And, not to mention this is going to be a first in the US, and that means that only large cities are going to carry it first. Also, its not cheap. You can almost add like $30.00 to your oil changes to account for the cost.

That being said, if he will go with a dodge, its going to be an 08 or 09. I have tried talking him into an 05-07.5 truck since they have the old style 5.9 CTD, but he is really set on a warranty.

What? Where did you find the info on this **** tank at?

That would make my oil changes the same as any idiot using Royal Purpl and a K&N filter!

Another point I made to my dad for the CTD was simply asking, "So you'd rather be stroking than cummin'?" Far from original but he had never heard it before haha
