What kind of daily driver should I buy?

I have a spending limit of $2000 after writing off my mustang and I was looking at something to last me 2 years until I can afford a newer sports car (srt4 hopefully) and I was leaning to either a focus, or a neon just anything that will go forever and is handy to have.

What do you guys suggest?

I got a free 93 sundance with only 150,000kms on it. I'm taking it in for a safety next week and I'm gonna be driving it back and forth to college for 2 years. you can pick them up for 500-1000 here and theres soo many of em. and cheap as hell to fix.

+1 whatever you get, at least get a manual but a 1g Neon sounds like a good bet if you ask me

+1 on first gen Neon. I have an 03 and I owned a 97.My 97 was a base with a manual tranny. Mix of city and highway I got 37-39 mpg. Out on the open road, I got 41 mpg several times. 03 does well-35-38 overall.

Im really looking for a station wagon, if I can't find a good one then im pretty sure I will be down for a 5 speed neon

For $2k, you'd be looking at an Escort or Tracer wagon.
