Unhappy How do you wake up?

Anyone here have troubling wake yourself up?

Let me elaborate, A couple times ill be sleeping thinking too myself "man I'm sleeping too good let me see what time it is" wake up and carry on my normal route, but I still be feeling really good, or there be 1 or 2 things off. Find out that im still sleep and having a dream inside a dream because when i really wake up ill be in the bed.

Still not following heres an example. I was early too work 5:49 wasn't allowed to punch it had 11mins so i hopped in the back seat of the shuttle van and slept. I was thinking to myself man I think i been sleeping too long let me get up. Actually a co-worker woke me up me and him talked a like as i was struggling to get off my back. I didnt remember getting out the van but I do remember walking through the shop under rasie vehicles. Then a "little person" walked by me and waved. I thought it was a new service consultant so i kept walking towards the front office to punch in. I should've known right when i saw a midget at work at 6am that i was sleep. something else happend I hear the sounds of the garage doors raising which really woken me. "aw man i overslept" its now 6:33am and the SC is opening the garage doors.

I figure im not getting enough sleep, or overstressed, just wanting to know if this is common.

when i was a cement crew manager directly under the boss (2nd in command, woohoo!) i was working so hard that when i went to sleep at night i kept working. in my sleep i was mixing cement and laying curbing and directing the other crew members, in the morning i'd wake up to my dirty clothes basket tossed across the room with dirty clothes everywhere(the mixer apparently), and my flyrod cases lined up perfectly across my room (like curbing), at the time it was stressing me out, but after a month of restless sleep it went away and i got a solid 3 hours of sleep a night.

You people sleep?

Wow.

I'm lucky to get in a maximum of 4 hours a night.

To the OP, go see an sleep specialist. ASAP! I went to one, and it has given me the solutions to why I don't sleep. I'm not going into details here, but in essence, I have a disorder. I can continue going the path I'm on, or change things.

Anyways, I wake up to Stranglehold every morning. Usually, I wake up about 5 minutes before the alarm ever goes off.

I've suffered from sleeping problems for 8 years now, for a while in the navy I was getting off of work and sleeping 3 or 4 hours waking up to eat dinner and get anything else done I needed to and then going back to sleep for 3 or 4 hours before I had to go to work. I can't remember the last time I woke up and felt well rested...

i got some sleep issues myself...

i never had problems sleeping until recently i used to sleep at night no problem all night... well i started dating this girl and she moved in with me and she lived here about a month and then some **** happened and she left. and ever since she left i dont sleep well in the bed ill sleep for a couple hours tossing and turning then ill be up for an hour then back to sleep.. i sleep like **** in my own king size custom bed lol and i even tried sleeping on the couch same **** toss and turn all night.. a bunch of people tell me i have insomnia and i say well why the hell haventi had it before.. well apparantly dont know if its true or not but insomnia is supposedly triggered by other things such as stress, or depression like my case (i dont feel depressed but my sister made me go to the doctor when the girl left and apparantly im depressed lmao the doctor told me i was sad and gave me some pills i never take ****in quack) anyway figured id share why im up at 2 am

I work only nights. When I am working I sleep an average of 7 hours and do not feel rested at all upon waking. When at home I wake up at weird times and crash at weird times, such as going to bed at 8:00 last night and not being able to sleep past 4 in the morning, but yet still feel rested. Either here or at work I have no trouble falling asleep, once my head hits the pillow count to 20 and Im done for. Been that way since I was a kid.

Yeah I hear ya. Working nights sucks but you do what you gotta do. 4 hours straight is about it if I'm lucky. I fall directly asleep so I know my body is tired but I have to be to the point of physical collapse to get any more than 4 hours sleep. I'll wake up thinking of something that needs done and it'll dog me till I finally give up and just get out of bed. At work I'm going all night and seldom get "sleepy" just to busy for that. Oh, and the working during your sleep thing REALLY SUCKS! Do it all the time. Bad enough you never really rest but then to have this $hit going on is like your constantly working double shifts. Funny how many people can relate to this thread huh? Laramie that doctor could make a fricken fortune right here! Lots of disorders................

I have talked to a co-worker his wife is a shrink. But that was about me going home and dreaming about work. She said I was overstressed at work, something about how my mind would manifest its own reality of how the next day would plan out so when i woke and arrive it was mostly deja vu.

I use 2 be able to beat my alarm clock 5-30mins b4 it went off, I could because ill be sleep and feel well/over rested and get up to check the time because I think I over slept. In some cases some how I would get up and turn the alarm clock off unknowingly?? I thought it was someone pulling a prank then one day i caught myself.

and as far as sleepin with old girlfriends/friends pffft yeah... i always get the chicks that know kung fu, or think they're on fire when they are sleeping, or the ones that need something to hold on 2 all which keeps me awoken.
