Well, It has been three years since I last bought a gun. I bought a GLOCK G20C five years ago and then a HK P2000 three years ago (both .40) and needed to up my collection. I got a LR-308AP4 (RFLR) by DPMS for some serious firepower. Can not wait to shoot it this weekend,

Will post pictures as soon as I find the digital camera. I shot a .50 BMG sniper rifle last weekend as well as a .50 Desert Eagle. My friend of a friend brought his ar-15 and mac-10 fully automatics to the range. Shot the .50 DE and it banked off my forehead and almost knocked my out. think about this. A robber is in your house as you grab your .50 De and pull the trigger.....miss....wait til the recoil subsides....and too late. Overkill in my opinion as the gun is not even fun to practice shoot let alone be an antribute to the owner for self defense. I will stick with my .40 calibers that I cna group fairly well in a hurry hip shoot,

I shot 70 rounds this weekend and my shoulder is sore from the past two weekends of shooting heavy caliber guns. A friend had his AR-15 and we swapped for a few rounds and there is a big difference in recoil between the .308 and the .223. The difference is also in the cost as my .308 are close to 70 cents a round when I but 500 rounds and close to a $1.00 at sports stores. Had a great time even though I could not pick up my 9 month old daughter as my wrist was shot (no pun),

Put about 200 rounds through it this weekend with brother-in-law. Shoulder was too sore to clean it as it is very dirty. Have Magtech 150 grain FMJBT ammo and seems to be accurate although I have to adjust the site and dail it in,
