Damn man. Hell, I woulda drove up there just to keep your *** out of trouble. No joke. I've had to go to KC before to pick a buddy of mine up at a bar because he was too trashed to drive and didn't have the money to pay for a cab ride that far away. I'm pretty sure that he coulda flown home in the morning cheaper lol.

I would with out a doubt get a lawyer. From what my buddies here in Greene have told me, their little portable machines aren't that accurate. I've been told that they can be up to .05-.1 off. Just depends. It's too bad you don't live closer since I have a guy that is very good at this and is fairly cheap.

At this point, you need someone that can go in like a hell cat and tear all their evidence to shreds since with this type of offense, it's not smiled kindly on. From what I've seen, MO is about one of the most strict states on this subject. I've seen cops in this area let kids go when they've found weed in their car ( The pot was confiscated of course), but if they find alk, they are toast.

Sorry man, but I'm pretty sure you're going to lose your license for half a year. They're very strict on that.

ok , i just talked to the attorney im going to hire, he said at most i will be w/o license for 30 days. maybe not at all. apparently in this area its all about money. everyone ive talked to around here (including friends who are cops) have told me its just about money. they said if i pay double my fine they wont even put the dui on my record, just a moving violation ...

WWJD: same thing here, the tickets that were wrote dont have any thing to do with my DL. ive got 15 days to request a administrative hearing, which will turn my 15 day temp DL into an indefinite temp license untill the hearing. all these people want is money.

thanks for all your help and advice everyone. i made a stupid decision and now im going to pay for it. looks like i had a couple of $1200 beers.......

It is all about the money. However, when they say they will expunge your DUI, the fact is it WILL remain on your record, only to LE agencies. But 30 days isn't bad, it can always be worse. Just remember your not fully out of it yet until you go to court so don't put all your eggs in one basket and assume you will just get 30 days or less without the license because there is always that possibility that it will not go that way, but just my .02. Good luck.

me too, last time i climbed behind the wheel after drinking, i smashed my 99 jeep xj into a tree going 45mph. im going to get some help for my drinking i think. alcoholism runs in my family really bad, my mother, my uncle, my father, used to be really bad alcoholics but have turned themselves around . i dont want to put my daughter through all of that.
i look back at the night of the dui and as soon as i got back to my cousins house from the sheriffs office i started downing whiskey. not a good sign. ive got too much going for me to drink it all away. i feel like such an ***.
