I watched the game, and the clock still had time on it when the pass hit the ground. The way the rule was explained on tv, the clock stops when the ball hits the ground. On the replay, the ball hit with one second left. Texas got lucky, no doubt. Poor clock management and an ill advised scramble almost cost them the game, but to me at least, it looked legit.

personaly, i would have kicked with about 10 seconds left, just in case there was a bad snap. But I am just an LSU Football fan, not a high priced coach with a stop watch in my head.( OR IN OUR CASE, WITHOUT A STOPWATCH IN THE HEAD)
