Default Bed liner. Can it blow out?

Has anyone ever heard of a bed liner blowing out of the bed of a pick up with the tail gate up. It is the short bed. If it did not blow out it was stolen from outside my house and I live in the country( even if some one did steal it, it is no good to them because it is too big for the little picks up sold here). I went back along the high way the next day to look for it when I seen it was gone but there no sign of anything. The liner was not bolted down but it was a good fit in the bed.

Slim, they make a good noise when they fly out, cuz it should catch on something a bit. Plus you should see it in the rearview.

Side note, I had it happen to my work truck, so I improvised and tied it down with a phone cord. lol

If you are paying attention to your mirrors, you would have seen it as it more than likely flopped around quite a bit in the wind. As for sound, lol, they are entertaining. more like a scraping sound and then a foom of it breaking into the air stream.

If you had the radio on even at a comfortable level, I would think that you would have heard it.

We lost one on our old 2001 Chevy 1500 that way, but everyone and their brother knew it happened even my Mother sitting in the back sound asleep.

I had two 6 foot ladders and a tripod light fly out of the back of my Dakota and I never heard a sound. Nor did I hear the tie down break. (however it was dark. The guy with me heard nothing either)

Am I the only one that sees the irony in the fact that we have a thread about a bed liner issue when this entire section is sponsored by bakliner?
