gsxr 750 is nice, if your going with a full litre then why not go with the yamaha R1? best looking bike ive seen

you think i will be able to handle the r1? or gsxr1000 im a bigger guy i just dont want to look silly on a 600 or 750

start off with a 600cc bike . i now guys that there first bike is a 1000cc and its to much one killed himself , these are machaines you have to respect , i started out with a 97 kaw ninja 600 then went to a 07 honda 600rr then a bussa , starting small is the way to go. unless you want to die . but that was years ago my back cant take that chit , im a harley guy now

and for the record im 6'4" and from a 250 to a 1000 they are all the same just more power ...you best be able to handle it ..thats why i say start on a 600 . with that money you aint gettin a 1000 anyway

Ya, i ride motocross, and jumping to a 1000cc bike would be dangerous. Even though you know what your doing, its just too much. a 600 would be plenty.

damn im sorry to hear.. the only thing im concerned with is my height and weight for a small bike

2008Dodgeramblackedout 04-04-2010 08:17 PM

okay i had a gsxr 600 for a week like a few weeks back i baught it for 4500 it was a 2006 with 9000 miles on it and i rode it alot it wouldnt do wheelie or anythign with me on it

x2 find a starter bike first Idon't care if your paul bunyan, You gotta get use too how a bike is before you go' whatever just another grease spot if your impatient.

the R1 is a sexy bike though. Go find a nice used one thats been put down a couple times. Its better to let someone else drop a bike and reduce the value.
