Default Schools banning certain foods, areas banning certain sizes of drinks

It seems blatantly clear to me that our government - both at the local and federal level - has way too much free time on its hands when the "leaders" can spend time placing bans on things like what kind of snacks are in school vending machines or what size of soda people can get delivered.

Our country is trillions of dollars in debt...every level of government is packed to the brim with clueless ******* lawyers getting paid big money to "run things" and the best that they can do is mandate that kids cant buy Reeses cups at school or that some loser rangers fan in NYC cant order a 2 liter bottle of Mr Pibb with his extra greasy pizza?

This is why this country is falling apart...because the "leaders" cannot figure out how to address the real issues so instead, they launch these stupid which hunts to show that they are trying to do SOMETHING.

Right...they cant figure out how to stop people from killing each other so they will go after the soda companies to show what they consider progress.

In the end, the soda ban is all about political money. Industries including tobacco, firearm, alcohol, automotive, gasoline and many more spend millions of dollars every year making sure that they have politicians on their side. Now that these soda bans have been handed down, soda companies will have to also spend all of that money to prevent clueless lawyers from banning their products.

Right...killing other people is something to talk about. Killing yourself with soda should be your own business. Cigarettes are more dangerous than Pepsi but you can go into any place that sells them and buy them by the case. Why? Because the tobacco industry spends a fortune making sure that you can buy their product as freely as possible.

who lobbied for these rules. i think it will benefit the soda companies. people buy bigger sizes becuase it is ussually a better value. now they have to buy twice as many small ones which costs more then the bigger one. so basically people r paying more to get the same thing and the companies make more money. either way the government has much more important things to worry about. let the idiots with no self control kill themselves. the government is supposed to protect us so we can live our lifes how we want not protect us from ourselves

i don't think it would benefit the companies. stuff like this will just hurt the schools. if they make money from the vending machine and are no longer allowed to sell certain thing the kids will go somewhere else to buy them. i know there is a couple different pizza places or convenient stores within 1km of the local high schools. the 1 local high school is not even 1/2km from 2 grocery store. you want a 2L bottle of pop to drink at lunch you got it.
