Default Sweatpants or No Sweatpants

So another thread made me think of this. What's everyone's thoughts on sweatpants in public? For everything besides heading to the gym?

I am totally against it.

Unless you are headed to the gym, then it is absolute laziness. Show some self respect and get dressed. Same goes for wearing pajamas in public and yes "public" includes Walmart.

I dont own sweatpants but when I was coaching, I would leave the house in a wind suit which is far from sweaties. Now that we live next to the saddle club, I am guilty of occasionally going to check on the horses in fleece PJ pants. Its lazy but its literally in my back yard. If people dont like it, they can eat at dicks...Im not trying to impress anyone.

Then you have this sweats that will put a word across the cheeks and it is hypnotizing. You just can't look away. Just as bad as looking at an ugly baby.

Thats kind of different, it is basically your backyard/your place, etc I am talking like to the store, to the mall, to a car show etc

I was at Subway in walmart the other day and there was this older woman wearing FILTHY light grey sweatpants with a dingy white fur coat and flip flops. mind you, its cold here. at first, i kind of felt like a dick making fun of this woman as it looks like she shops at goodwill and she probably doesnt have the means to dress better. we happened to walk out around the same time...she got into a newer CTS-V wagon in the handicapped spot.

i went back to make fun of her in my head.
