He was pissed about an oil leak on his jeep with the 3.6. Never buying another dodge, blah, blah. This is his parting shot. Moved to off topic since this does not belong in the new member section.

the ford will be dropping all sorts of fluids soon enough, including oil (especially if its one of those fancy ecoboosts)

That was the one big complaint I had about my RAM even though I had it undercoated. Both my 2012 and my wife's 2010 started to rust out at the rear Wheel wells/fenders. I had both under coated and always kept them clean. Hopefully your aluminum bed will hold up as good as a steel bed with strength and not rust.
