Just like the title says, I have 1 TCCM

one out of an 01 Dakota(good for 01-04 Dakota, 02-03 Durango)

I also have a CTM out of an 03 Dakota $25.00 TYD





And a 4 on the fly switch $25.00 TYD

The reason I have these parts is cause my Transfer case started acting up and from reading posts on here I thought that is what I needed. I can test all parts except the 01 durango CTM, and you can pay through pay-pal. Mike

I was wondering if the tccm for the 01-04 dakota is for a v8 or v6 or if it matters?

 

From what I was told by the dealer it does not matter if it is from v8 or v6. Since all the TCCM does is tell the transfer case what gear to be in.

 

I was told that the part numbers are supposed to match up. Can i get the part number for the dakota 01-04 dakota tccm to see if it matches mine?

 

The part # is in the pics, but here 242AF. The TCCM's are the blue boxes in the pics. As the dealer has told me as well as research online, dakota 01-04 and durango 02-03 TCCM's are interchangeable. I can plug the durango one into my truck and it works, as well as the dakota one, so motor size has nothing to do with it.
