I think you're right if they decide to keep it. I think more people will be watching this season to see how everything pans out.....at any rate, it's going to be interesting, for sure!!![sm=interesting.gif]
The new format has kept me interested, but your right in the fact that the top end has become easier to stay in there even after DNFs or low finishes. At least Kasey got back to 9th.

They had a big article in the Dallas newspaper this morning about all the attention the new "system" is generating. Evidently, more people than normal are watching to see how this all works out. It also said a major reason they changed was that NASCAR was running into stiff competition for TV viewers from the NFL, the World Series and NCAA football, especially in years like last year when the championship was decided well in advance of the end of the season....
